Two years ago, I went to Japan with my friend and we completely fell in love with the city of Tokyo.
We spent most of our days exploring the beautiful city, eating incredible Japanese cuisine, and going to tourist attractions. We have always been obsessed with Ramen, Sushi and Mochi, so Tokyo was like heaven to us – we ate it almost every day! One of the highlights of our trip was going to Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea. We are daredevils, so we went on every ride and waited until the evening parades for the fireworks.
Being in Tokyo felt surreal – it felt like we were in a movie. At night, the city is lit with the most incredible lights, and there is always music playing everywhere. I also was very impressed with their public transport services, particularly their trains, which come very regularly and are always on time! This is a vast difference compared to the trains in Melbourne and is a very refreshing, yet pleasant experience.
I would love to visit again, because everybody was so kind and polite and always willing to help us when we were lost or couldn’t speak Japanese. Another reason I would love to visit again is because of the food. Every day since my trip, I have thought about the Ichiran Ramen and I would do anything to eat it again.
